The Secondary School had a Wellbeing Week recently to promote healthy minds and happy hearts. The week was full of events for all years and gave everyone a bit of zen and motivation.

First and second year students had a go at making bath bombs from scratch – messy and fun!

Author and psychologist Shane Martin spoke to the 5th and 6th years about how to adapt to the challenges of life. Students learned about evidence based strategies that are linked to positive mental health.

We enjoyed a whole school Zumba session on Wednesday with Carla. Happy bodies, happy hearts!

The Yin to the Zumba Yang, was an ice cream sundae bar with all the fixings – sure, why not?

All year groups took part in a webinar from BodyWhys on positive body image.  TY’s had a SOAR workshop on Friday, dealing with minding mental health, friendships and looking after one another.

Some of the year groups did a Wellbeing Walk for fresh air and the chats!

And throughout the week, all year groups enjoyed a little break in the library with board games or reading time.

A great way to round out the term!
