The Teresian School Closure
Following the Taoiseach’s announcement today that all schools will be closed as of 6pm this evening , The Teresian Secondary, Junior and Pre-School will remain closed until Monday 30th March.
As a school community, our thoughts and prayers are with those who have been affected by Covid-19 and the healthcare professionals who are working tirelessly to manage this.
The Junior School students (Kinder A – Class 6) will bring home books and planned work today. The Secondary School students will work in teams for their classes online. We urge the students to keep to the school routine as much possible over the coming weeks.
We direct all families to heed advice from the HSE and to ensure that your children continue to observe the good hygiene habits that have been encouraged both at home and in school.
Helpful advice can be found at education.ie/covid19.
You will appreciate that this is unprecedented and it is a learning curve for everyone. In dealing with this we ask for your patience. We may not be able to respond to individual emails in a prompt fashion.
We hope that the whole Teresian School community remains safe and well in the coming weeks.
No doubt we will look out for each other and we look forward to seeing you back on 30th March.
