Our Mass of Remembrance was held on the 25th of November to remember those we have lost.

I  WILL JUST SAY THIS

We bloomed in Spring.

Our bodies are the leaves of God.

The apparent seasons of life and death

our eyes can suffer;

but our souls, dear,

I will just say this forthright:

they are God Himself,

we will never perish

unless He does.

St Teresa of Avila

It was a really beautiful service, the music and readings and Fr. Ciarán’s address were all very moving talking about the Bridge of Tears in Donegal – a place I know very well with a lot of wonderful family associations for me, it’s on the road to my Aunt’s house and Grandad’s homeplace in the wilds of remote north Donegal, a very beautiful place if you ever have the opportunity to visit.
