For this week’s Past Pupil, we didn’t have to look further than the walls of our Secondary School to talk with our very own Rachel Hynes-Roche.
After graduating from the Teresian School in 2006, Rachel went on to study Science in UCD and Teaching in The University of Edinburgh. Not satisfied to stop there, she continued her studies with a Master of Education from UCD and an Advanced Diploma in Law and Education from King’s Inns.
Rachel returned to the Teresian School as a teacher 6 years ago because as a student she loved the familial ethos and the small size of the school, and has always felt at home here. We are very lucky to have her as a teacher of Science and Chemistry, and as our Anti-Bullying Co-ordinator.
Fun fact: Rachel has a gorgeous black lab/collie mix called Nando, who has her wrapped around his little paw!
