Within drama class students explore an array of skills with elements of singing and dancing from the Broadway hits to the music charts, in a welcoming and structured class. The aim of the programme is to build students confidence, understanding of performance and to develop their skills in the performing arts.
Áine Keegan is a fully qualified teacher and holds an Associate Diploma in Drama Teaching with the Leinster School of Music and Drama (LSMD) and is a member of the Speech and Drama Teachers of Ireland Association. She studied Speech & Drama at ITW as a teenager before she received a scholarship to study Musical Theatre Performance in the prestigious Colin’s Performing Arts Academy in England. She was the first ever student to receive the Sheila Murphy Scholarship to study for an HDip in Drama in Education at Griffith College Dublin.
