Dear all,

We would like to invite the entire school community, all parents, relatives, and Teresian members by vocation or association and all our friends to join us in a quiet time of prayer and reflection on Friday the 3rd of April at 3 pm.

We will unite in spirit and ask God our Lord for Easter blessings for our families, loved ones, for this country, all human family, and all creation.

“Faith begins when we realise we are in need of salvation. We are not self-sufficient”
-Pope Francis (27th of March 2020)
As a community of fellow human beings, we are now finding ourselves in a situation when we all are in need of salvation in one sense or another. We need to be saved from our anxieties, uncertainties, and impatience. We are asked to keep social distance even from those we love the most and who depend on us in many ways. We are asked, “to make these sacrifices out of love for each other,”
-Leo Varadkar (27th of March 2020).
Whether you believe in the Christian God, Jesus Christ, God who is Love, or you follow a different path in your life; you are precious. Your thoughts and good intentions and good wishes count and cannot be replaced. Your kindness and warmth towards others mean the world. We are all united in love and care for one another.
We will begin our time together by lighting a candle in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
[Optional]  Bodhran Maker Video 60 secs. moment of reflection
We will continue with Lord’s Prayer, followed by Hail Mary, and by a few moments of silent prayer for personal intentions.
We will conclude in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
[Optional] Everyday God song video Song Video 4 mins.
You are welcome to share an image of a lit candle on social media and tag #teresiandublin.
We wish you a blessed Easter filled with Hope and Love,
The Teresian School RE Team
