OUR AIM FOR THE YEAR
Living “Laudato Si’: On care for our common home”
The Season of Creation is celebrated from 1 September to 4 October, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. Faith leaders from different Christian Traditions, in their first joint statement call on all members of the Christian family and all people of good will to celebrate the gift and beauty of creation and to reflect on how we care and keep it safe. A precious time to deepen our relationship with God, our Creator, with each other, and all of creation.
“There is a nobility in the duty to care for creation through little daily actions.”
— Laudato Si’ 211
During this season, as a school community we walk together and join hands with others to be stewards of Creation for the present and future generation, in a spirit of brotherhood and for an active ‘climate leadership’ in our families and communities.
